Wuhan City Circle is a regional economic union centered on Wuhan and incorporates nine cities of Wuhan, Huangshi, Ezhou, Huanggang, Xiaogan, Xianning, Xiantao, Qianjiang and Tianmen. Nine cities now emerge as one.

  Wuhan city circle has long been the engines for Hubei's economy. It contributed over 60 percent of the provincial GDP in 2020 which totaled 2.64 trillion Yuan.

  It has the world's fastest laser, the most complete variety of display screens, and Asia's largest freight airport.

  Targeted measures are launched to boost scientific and technological innovation, attract more high-caliber talents and enhance international cooperation to make the city circle a powerful one.

  Wuhan City Circle, with nine cities as one, is the most important engine for economic growth in the central region and will become the largest economy cluster at the province-level urban agglomeration.
