Hubei, Japan to enhance business cooperation

  Zhao Haishan, vice governor of Hubei Province, met with Nanazawa Jun, minister counselor of the Japanese Embassy in China and a delegation of Japanese enterprises on July 9, in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

  Zhao welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude to all walks of life in Japan for their support to Hubei's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. He pointed out that Hubei enjoys unique comprehensive advantages and steady economic and social development, which provides favorable opportunities for Japanese companies to develop here. Hubei and Japan share a long history of exchanges and cooperation with a solid foundation. The province strives to create a market-oriented, legalized, and international business environment to support foreign-funded enterprises. It is hoped that more Japanese companies will invest and start businesses in Hubei, and strengthen cooperation in the area of big health.

  The vice chairman of the Japanese Chamber Commerce and Industry in China as well as the general manager of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings (Beijing) showed their gratitude to Hubei for helping Japanese companies resume work and production. It is hoped that the two sides will further promote exchanges in the fields of environmental protection, medical care, big health and chemical industry.
