Enterprises between Hubei, Germany expect further cooperation

  Zhao Haishan, vice governor of Hubei Province met with Frank Rückert, minister counselor of the German Embassy in China and a delegation of German enterprises on July 8, in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

  Zhao expressed his warm welcome to the German guests. He noted that the enterprises in the delegation, which mainly specialize in the fields of automobiles, new energy, software and logistics, represent the industrial ecological chain of Germany's "Industry 4.0" and have wide influence. They share many points in line with the current industrial layout and high-quality development in Hubei. The inspection and business matching events conducted by the delegation during this trip will inject new impetus to bilateral cooperation.

  He pointed out that Hubei has outstanding geological location, rich scientific and educational resources, strong industrial foundation, and robust momentum for the development of emerging industries. The whole province is striving to create a market-oriented, legalized, and international business environment to escort for enterprises from all over the world to invest in Hubei.

  Hubei is also an important automobile industry base in the country, and it is committed to building a national-level base for new energy and intelligent-connected vehicles. The national carbon emission settlement and registration center in Wuhan will soon be put into trial operation.
