Widest bridge flying over Han River open to traffic

  Hanjiangwan (or Han River Bay) Bridge, the 7th bridge flying over Han River in Wuhan, was opened to traffic on May 1.

  Located between Zhiyin Bridge and Gutian Bridge, it stretches over 2.75 kilometers, with a main span of 408 meters and a  road width of 52.5 meters. It is the widest bridge over the Han River so far.

  At present, there have been  11 bridges over the Yangtze River and 7 bridges over the Han River opened to traffic  within the city's third ring road.
