The conference on Hubei’s investment promotion and signing ceremony of the poverty alleviation action was held in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, on August 11.

  A conference on Hubei’s investment promotion and poverty alleviation action was held  in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province on August 11, which aimed at assisting the epidemic-stricken area in restoring economic and social development as well as winning the fight to eliminate poverty.

  The conference, jointly established by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Hubei government, and the China Society for Promotion of Guangcai Program，attracted private enterprises nationwide to conduct  business and invest in Hubei as the region is gradually resuming work in an orderly manner.

  Data showed that since the action was launched  two months ago, it has raised donations worth over 112.884 million yuan from  430 private enterprises. Meanwhile, 2,193 private enterprises have provided 106,203  jobs for Hubei. More than 1,000 private enterprises have reached 808 investment intentions, with a total investment of 430.8 billion yuan. The on-site conference promoted the implementation of cooperative projects for Hubei’s post-virus recovery.
