2019 marks the tenth anniversary of the launch of “ 3551 Optics Valley Talent Scheme ”. Since 2009, Optics Valley has invested 1.87 billion yuan in attracting global talents, through which, it has built a high-level talent pool embracing Nobel Prize winners, foreign and domestic academicians, national and provincial-level talents, according to East Lake High-tech Development Zone on August 28, 2019.

In 2009, with the aim of building an innovation and entrepreneurship center with world influence, the zone officially launched the “3551 Optical Valley Talent Scheme”. After ten years of development, the Optics Valley has created six brands for introducing talents, including the “3551 Optical Valley Talents Program”, “China Optics Valley 3551 International Entrepreneurship Competition”, “Optics Valley Talent Fund”, “333 Salon” and on-campus job fair.

In the past decade, special fund up to 1.87 billion yuan has been offered by Optics Valley to support the innovation and entrepreneurship of high-level talents.

Up to now, Optics Valley has emerged as a talent pool centering on the industrial clusters of optoelectronic information, biomedicine and other competitive industries. It is now home to 4 Nobel Prize winners, 61 Chinese and foreign academicians, 399 national-level talents, 182 provincial-level talents, 1699 experts selected into “3551 Optical Valley Talents Scheme”, more than 6,000 teams at home and abroad, over 10,000 employees with doctoral degree and 60,000 with master degree.
