“Welcome Hubei enterprises to invest in Kyrgyzstan, ” called Kyrgyzstan Ambassador to China Baktygulova, at a trade and investment environment briefing conference in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, on September 11.

  The conference promoted the Hubei enterprises 16 major projects, relating to agriculture, power engineering, cement and building materials, information and communication and other fields. Nine out of the 16 projects touch upon agriculture.

  In addition, information on the payback period and return rate of each project was introduced as well.

  The attended representatives of Hubei enterprises praised the promotion that it will provide local enterprises a new opportunity.

  Kyrgyzstan was one of the first countries to support and actively participate in the construction of the Belt and Road. In the past five years, the economic and trade cooperation between Hubei and this country has been continuously strengthened, witnessing and the total import and export volume increasing from 2.58 million U.S.dollars in 2013 to 806 million U.S.dollars in 2018.
