Chen Ping, Hubei’s vicegovernor,met with representatives from delegation of leading companies, as well as Spanish and Italian delegations attending the 2025 China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum in Wuhan, on Oct. 14, 2025,discussing ways to deepen practical cooperation.

  Chen extended warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the guests. She highlighted that Hubei's economy has maintained steady growth, boasting advantages in connectivity, technology, industries, culture-tourism, and openness. She expressed hope to establish cooperation platforms, expand bilateral trade, and explore opportunities in green transformation, financial services, cultural exchanges, agriculture, tourism, and sports to facilitate more collaborative projects.

  The guests praised Hubei's vibrant development, favorable business environment, and hospitality, expressing strong confidence in future cooperation. They emphasized strengthening ties in industry, trade, and people-to-people exchanges for mutual benefits.

  The China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum is China's sole state-level and international forum dedicated to Nordic cooperation.
