The comprehensive bonded zone in Xiangyang City, central China's Hubei Province, passed acceptance review on May 27, becoming the fifth zone of its kind in the province.

  An acceptance and inspection team including personnel from the General Administration of Customs and the National Development and Reform Commission took part in the acceptance process via video link. They examined the construction of infrastructure and regulatory facilities in the zone and issued their acceptance.

  The zone, covering two square kilometers, lies in the north of Pilot Free Trade Zone. It will be a new of China (Hubei) Area Xiangyang platform for Hubei’s opening-up and development.

  At present, a total of 70 enterprises are expected to settle in the comprehensive bonded zone.
