The exports of Dongfeng Motor soared by 124 percent year on year to 154,000 units in 2021, hitting a new record high, local media said on March 10.

  From January to February in 2022, Dongfeng Motor achieved vehicle sales of nearly 30,000 units in exports, with a year-on-year increase of over 60 percent.

  Of the total, 12,000 units were sold in the own-brand segment, up 86.8 percent year on year, while 18,000 units were sold in the joint-venture segment, up 55.6 percent year on year.

  Specially, the company exported more than 9,000 units in the area of new energy vehicles during the same period, skyrocketing by 265.5 percent and accounting for 30.3 percent of the total exports.

  As of the end of January this year, Dongfeng has exported more than 1 million units to over 80 countries and regions around the world.
