By the end of next year, Hubei will increase the number of 5G base stations to 100,000 and realize full coverage of 5G signals in central urban areas above the county  level  across the province, according to an action plan released by the province on promoting “5G+Industrial Internet” for the 2021-2023 period.

  The plan also clarifies that, by the end of 2023, the number of 5G base stations in the province will expand from more than 50,000 to over 100,000, and the number of enterprise-level and industry-level industrial internet platforms will  increase from 25 to 50.
