The 2022 World Transport Convention (WTC 2022) is scheduled to be held on June 13-16, in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

  Under the theme of sustainable transport, WTC 2022 aims to devote China’s efforts to global transport governance and sustainable development of transportation, so as to promote international exchanges and cooperation as well as technological innovation and development in the field of transport.

  The convention will feature more than 280 parallel forums, about 1,700 academic reports, expos and attendance of no less than 100 international experts via video link.

  Germany and Hubei have been confirmed as the guest country and the   guest  province of honor respectively by the convention. Taking this role, Hubei will host a special session charactered by local scientific and innovative  integration and industrial development.

  Meanwhile, the Transportation Technology Expo, slated for June 14-16 during the convention, will focus on displaying the latest technologies and engineering examples in the field of transportation, especially technical achievements in intelligent engineering, management, manufacturing and new-type systems, equipment, materials and plans.

  Hosted by China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Transport and Chinese Academy of Engineering and organized by China Highway & Transportation Society, the World Transport Convention has achieved a grand success since 2017 at home and abroad.
