Wuhan Biobank was officially put into operation on Nov. 23, at the Optics Valley, Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province. The bank will focus on the preservation and utilization of human genetic resources, as well as related technology development, achievement transformation and data sharing. It is the country’s first third-party human genetic resource bank built in an industrial park and directly serving the industrial development.
