An investment promotion conference on culture and tourism was convened on March 22, in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.
38 projects involving a total investment of 160.905 billion yuan, including Tengwen Cloud Computer Headquarters, Peking University Science Park, Yangtze River Piano Cultural Industrial Park, Mulan Lake Tourist Resort and China Dinosaur Park (Huangpi), were inked during the event.
In recent years, Wuhan’s cultural and tourism industry has witnessed rapid development. In 2020, the city received 259 million tourists with a total tourism revenue of 290.6 billion yuan. The cultural enterprises above designated size achieved operating income of 209.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7.6 percent.
