A tulip exhibition kicked off on Feb. 26 at the tulip theme park in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, in celebration of the Chinese Lantern Festival.

  A total of 1.5 million tulips of more than 60 varieties are on display, all of which are imported from the Netherlands. The tulips entered blooming period 20 days earlier than the previous years.

  There are also cherry blossoms, azalea, snapdragon and marguerite in the park, which have ushered in best period for viewing.

  This year’s tulip exhibition is expected to last till the end of March.
