The 17th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (OVC EXPO) was inaugurated on November 11, at the China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center, in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.

  10 projects, including the capital increase project (T4) of China Star Optoelectronics Technology, the Zhuxin technological industrial park in theOptics Valleyand the automotive chip project of NavInfo, were signed on the opening day, with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan.

  These projects, characterized by large-scale investment, high technological content, long industrial chain and favorable social effects, will make a big push towards high-quality development of the Optics Valley, according to the head of the management committee of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone.

  This year’s expo attracted over 300 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions. The 3-day event will stage 1 summit forum, 15 specific sessions as well as 200 keynote speeches.
