Hubei rakes in 26 projects at 2020 CIFTIS

  As one of the few special sessions at the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing, the theme day activity focusing on Hubei was held on September 5. The ambassadors of Norway and Finland to China, the head of the Japan Trade Promotion Agency, the relevant leaders from Beijing and the Ministry of Commerce, attended the event to advocate the high-quality development of Hubei's service trade.

  Wuhan, Xiangyang and Yichang, the cities in Hubei, made presentations of their exhibition investment, cultural tourism, and international tourism at the event. The promotional videos full of Jingchu culture and scenery left a deep impression on  Chinese and foreign audiences and won a wave of applause.

  "I think Hubei is the most dynamic province in China," Norwegian Ambassador to China Signe Brudeset said in her speechat the event, praising that it is a remarkable achievement for Hubei people to come out of the haze of the epidemic and returned to normal in all walks of life.

  Other guests like the ambassador of Finland to China and the representative of Japan Trade Promotion Agency in Wuhan expressed their cooperation intention and admiration in Wuhan’s opening-up.

  Except for the likes and promotion by the attendees,  a total of 26 projects were signed on site, involving  software development, cross-border e-commerce, digital animation, block chain cooperation, biomedical development, environmental and food safety testing and other service trade fields.
