Wuhan was rated as the eighth “City of Opportunity” in China this year, according to a report jointly released by the China Development Research Foundation and PricewaterhouseCoopers at the just-ended 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on September 6.

  Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen ranked top four in the report, followed by Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Zhengzhou.

  42 cities in China, including Hong Kong and Macao, were evaluated based on the observation results in their economic development, social livelihood, urban infrastructure and other aspects. This year, special attention hasalso been paid to measuring the tenacity of cities in terms of health care, urban production safety, natural disasters and public safety.
