President Zhang Xiaomei Visited Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone and Ezhou City

  In order to better leverage CCPIT Hubei’s strengths in liaison, international exhibition and facilitation of ‘Going Global’ and ‘Bringing In’ practices, promote business environment and export-oriented economic development and prepare for 2020 Dubai World Expo, on June 17, President Zhang Xiaomei led a research team to Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone and Ezhou city.

  The team of CCPIT Hubei went to Wuhan East Lake Hi-tech Group Co., Ltd, exchanged views on how to better support micro, small and medium-sized hi-tech enterprises in smart manufacturing and biotechnology to foster international cooperation, aligned with first-class standards and realize upgrading and researched the company’s Chip Centre Project. Then the team visited service center of the Optics Valley, discussing with officials of Investment Promotion Bureau of Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone about pushing forward effective investment projects of overseas industrial giants in Hubei. CCPIT Hubei members also went to Wuhan Huashan Eco-City Exhibition Hall and learnt about practices of new-type urbanization demonstration zone in industrial development. During their stay in Ezhou, members surveyed Smart City Project of Wuhan East Lake Hi-tech Group in National Economic and Technological Development Zone in Gedian, construction site of Hubei international logistics core hub and held talks with officials of Administrative Committee of Ezhou Airport-based Economic Zone, focusing on how to bridge domestic and overseas business communities, assist in building a professional freight hub, foster driving forces of productive service, smart manufacturing, healthcare, big logistics and big data in the Economic Zone and push ahead with coordinated development of four cities of Wuhan, Ezhou, Huangshi and Huanggang.
