Onthe morning of November 23, vice president Zhang Aiming attended the 16th WuhanChina Agriculture Expo.

  ThisExpo is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and thePeople’s Government of Hubei Province, organized by the People’s Government ofWuhan city and the agricultural and rural Department of Hubei Province, andco-organized by CCPIT Hubei.

  Thetheme of the exhibition is "developing agriculture by quality andstrengthening agriculture by brand". There are more than 3000 domestic andforeign enterprises participating in the exhibition, 4000 exhibitors and 60000square meters of exhibition area. The exhibition gathers the whole agriculturalindustry chain, shows the development achievements of urban agriculture,creative agriculture, intelligent agriculture, beautiful countryside andcharacteristic villages and towns, and builds a large platform for manydomestic and foreign businesses to seek investment, cooperation and expandmarket. In addition, the Expo paid more attention to theme activities and heldthe second Wuhan Rural Leisure Food Festival, 13forums and promotion activitiesof Shenyangbrand agricultural products promotion conference.

  Afterthe opening ceremony, vice president Zhang Aiming visited fifteen exhibitionareas, including exhibition areas for cities and prefectures in Hubei Provinceand for agricultural science and technology. Relevant personnel from theinternational exhibition department accompanied to attend the above activities.
