On November 25, Electrical and Electronics Industries Chinese-Turkish Business Forum took place in Wuhan. Over 20 Turkish and Hubei companies producing white goods, cables, electronics, electrical generation and distribution equipmentparticipated. President of CCPIT Hubei and chairman of CCPIT Wuhan attended the event and delivered speeches.

  President Zhang Xiaomei extended a warm welcome to Turkish delegation and briefed on Hubei’s advantages in location, transportation, industry, education and opening-up. Zhang said that Turkey boasts a strong agricultural foundation, rich tourism resources and strengths in sectors like petrochemical, machinery and shipbuilding. Potential for bilateral cooperation is quite large. Turkish companies are welcome to seize opportunities in Hubei’s opening-up and strive for win-win results.

  Mr. Sun Yuansong, chairman of CCPIT Wuhan, gave an introduction of Wuhan’s strengths in location, industry and opening-up. He expressed the willingness to deepen business ties and promote cities of Hubei and Turkey establish sistership.

  Mr. Murat, board member of Electrical and Electronics Exporters’ Association expressed his thanks to CCPIT Hubei and CCPIT Wuhan. He said that under China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative and Turkeys Middle Corridor project, Hubei and Turkey see great potential in expanding cooperation in such field as trade, tourism and education.

  After the speeches, Turkish companies held B2B with their Hubei counterparts.

  Heads of Foreign Relations Department and Member Affairs and Information Department also attended the event.
