On the afternoonof November 13, President Zhang Xiaomei met with Ms. Kim Yunhee, Chief Representative of the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA) Wuhan Representative Office and other 3 delegates. The two sides exchange views on reinforcinginter-agency cooperation and jointly promote economic and trade cooperation betweenHubei Province and the ROK.

  President Zhang Xiaomei welcomed the guests. She said that Chinaand the ROK are close ingeography, culture and people. Hubei and the South Korea have deep roots in relationship. Backto 2010, the Republicof Korea established Consulate General at Wuhan,the only one in central China. KOTRA entered Wuhan earlyin 1996, and has made greatefforts and contributions to promoting friendly exchanges and business cooperation between Hubei and South Korea. President Zhang introduced Hubei’s advantages in industry and policy. As CCPIT Hubeiand KOTRA are similar in duties and tasks, she hopes that the two parties will strengthen informationexchanges, learn from eachother to achieve closer and pragmatic cooperation.

  Ms. KimYunhee thanked President Zhang for the hospitality and long-term support for the work of KOTRA Wuhan Representative Office.She introduced its main activitiesof 2019 and the work plan for 2020. She hopes that KOTRAWuhan could work with CCPIT HUBEI, organize a largebusiness delegation to South Korea and invite Koreancompanies to Wuhanfor business talks.

  The two sides conductedin-depth discussions on future cooperation, agreed to establish a mechanism forregular information exchange and communication, share latest event plans and arrangements and seek opportunities to jointly facilitatebusiness cooperation between Hubei and the South Korea.
