A total of 537 enterprises from Hubei Province are participating in the 138th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair.

  During this year'sfair, Hubei’senterprises focus on areas such as automobiles and components, hardware tools, electronic appliances, new materials and chemicals, mechanical tools. The number ofthe province’s exhibitionbooths reaches 1,095.

  The event commenced on Oct. 15 in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province. It is scheduled to take place until Nov. 4 in three phases.

  The exhibits originate from 222 exhibitors across 13 countries and regions, including Egypt, Türkiye, Thailand and Japan.

  Launched in 1957 and held twice yearly, the Canton Fair is considered a major gauge of China's foreign trade. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
