The 2024 Wuhan Global Investment Promotion Conference was held on June 26, in Wuhan, Hubei’s capital city.

  More than 120 guests, including representativesofthe world's top 500 enterprises, large multinational corporations, 16 industrial chain owners andtheir relatedenterprises,as well as science and technology innovative enterprises,gathered together to share views oncooperation and common development.

  165 key projectswith a totalinvestmentof over 201.8 billion yuan were signed on the site, involving new-generation information technology, automobile manufacturing and services, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedics and health, new materials, green environmental protection, business services, new energy and otherkeyindustrialfields.

  Statistics showedthat the total number of world's top 500 enterprisesin Wuhanreached 310 in 2023, ranking first among cities in central China. From January to May this year,the paid-ininvestmentin Wuhanincreased by 25.8 percent, and the total volume of foreign tradeexpandedby 8 percent. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
