A total of 183 projects withan investment of 328.368 billion yuan were inked duringthe first quarter (Q1) investment promotion conference held on Wednesday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

  More than 180 representatives ofFortune Global 500 companies, multinationalgiants, alumni entrepreneurs, science and technology innovative enterprises and business associations attended the conference.

  The projects covered the fields of intelligent manufacturing, new energy, biotechnology and cross-border e-commerce.

  In 2023, Wuhan's economic aggregate exceeded 2 trillion yuan, and the total number of business entities reached 2.06 million. Thenewly-registered business entitieshave posted anaverage annual growth of 31.7 percentover the past three years. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
