Chen Ping, vice governor of Hubei Province, led a delegation to visit Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Singapore from Nov. 25 to Dec. 4.

  Thedelegation organized 25 economic and trade activities during the visit,including the China Hubei-Saudi Arabia Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Conference, the International Cooperation Conference on Sustainable Development, and the China Hubei-Singapore Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Conference.

  The delegation paid a visit to overseas institutions and enterprises such asSaudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, the China-Arab Fund,Etihad Airways, and Wilmar International Group.

  They also visited the Chinese embassies in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore andthe Consulate-General of China in Dubai, and went to see the overseas employees of China Information Communication Technologies Group, Gezhouba Group and other Hubei-based central enterprises.

  Chen said that Hubei will continue to promote friendly exchanges with institutions and enterprises in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore, so as to inject new impetus into the development of Hubei's export-oriented economy.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
