Hubei registers robust investment growth in first three quarters

  Hubei registered a year-on-year growth of 15.5 percent in investment in the first nine months of 2022, 9.6 percentage points higher than the national average, local authorities said on October 27.

  By the end of September, the province's construction projects with more than 100 million yuan amounted to 10,520, surging by 17.4 percent year on year, of which there were 4,082 newly-started projects above 100 million yuan.

  In the first three quarters, Hubei's industrial investment grew by 22.7 percent year on year, accounting for 36.4 percent of the province's total.

  Infrastructure investment ascended by 18.5 year on year during the period.

  From January to September, the province's private investment recorded a year-on-year increase of 12.8 percent, 10.8 percentage points higher than the national average.

  Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, witnessed its investment rise by 15.5 percent, ranking first among 15 sub-provincial cities in China.
