Hubei held kick-off ceremony for major projects in the second quarter of this year on April 27, in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province.

  1,800 key projects worth above 100 million yuan each started construction this time, with a total investment reaching 1,186.3 billion yuan.

  Out of the total, there are2110-billion-yuan-levelprojects, 445-billion-yuan-levelprojects, and 4projects with investment exceeding 100 billion yuan fromcities and prefecturesin the province.

  Wuhan, Xiangyang, Yichang, Huanggang and Jingmenboast the most projects.

  70 percent of the projects and investment are related tothe fields of advanced manufacturing, modern service industry and modern agriculture, whichare expected to give impetus to the industrial upgrading and transformation in the province. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
