A special promotion event for Hubei Province which was hard hit by COVID-19, was held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 12, in Beijing, in a bid to present a new Hubei that has emerged stronger from the difficulties, and build new bridges connecting it to the world.

  Here are what the attended guests said at the event.

  Hubei's all-out efforts in the fight against the epidemic have set a model for the world and provided ideas for the anti-epidemic work of all the countries. If have chance, I will definitely visit Hubei and Wuhan.

  I once visited Hubei many years ago, and was deeply impressed by the province’s long history and splendid culture. After the epidemic, I haven't had the opportunity to go to Hubei yet. But I really want to see Hubei now and experience the good life of the people there.

  The Hubei government and its people have made amazing contributions in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. During that tough period, some Cubans stayed in Hubei, and they turned out to be healthy and safe, which gratified me.

Now Hubei’s economy is gradually recovering, enterprises have resumed work and production, students have returned to their schools, and the local people are back to their normal life. I feel proud of Hubei people.
