The Chibi Yangtze River Highway Bridge, the largest steel-concrete composite cable-stayed bridge in the world, finished closure on March 16.
With an estimated investment of 3.249 billion yuan, the bridge stretches 11.2 km in total length. It has six lanes with a designed speed of 100 kph.
The bridge, starting from Shuifu Village of Wulin Town in Honghu City and ending at Pu'an Village of Chibi Town in Chibi City, will bring the cities of Chibi, Honghu and Jiayu closely linked.
