Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, was listed among China's top 10 cities in terms of the nighttime economy, according to a report on the impact of Chinese cities’ nighttime economy which was jointly released by Liaowang Institute and Tencent on 20 Jan.   .

  The night economy refers to service sector activity between 6 pm and 6 am, which includes shopping, dining, tours, entertainment, studying, films and television, and relaxation.

  According to the report, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha, Qingdao, Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Wuhan ranked as the top ten after evaluating the dissemination, innovation, sector scale, and visitors flow at the business circles of 50 cities across the country.
