Train X8015, carrying epidemic prevention supplies, auto parts and electronic products from central China's Hubei Province, left Wujiashan station in Wuhan on January 2 for Duisburg, Germany.
It was the first China-Europe freight train departing from Wuhan in 2021.
Wuhan recorded a total of 215 China-Europe freight train trips in 2020. This year marks the 10th year of launching China-Europe (Wuhan) freight trains, with 400 round trips expected within the year.
The China-Europe freight train service has remained a reliable transportation channel amid the COVID-19 outbreak across the two continents.
