On December 17, the first phase of the renovation project of Zhuyehai Park, a park featuring bamboo culture and integrating the functions of wetland and public leisure, started construction. It is expected to be completed and opened by the end of 2021.

  The project is located in Qiaokou District, Wuhan, surrounded by the Third Ring Road in the north, Chenghua Road in the south, Zhuyehai West Road in the west, and the planned extension of Gutian First Road in the east. The park area has expanded to 411,000 square meters, consisting of 172,000 square meters of water area and 238,000 square meters of land area.

  The park is expected to introduce in more than 100 kinds of bamboo to build a park with the richest varieties of bamboo in central China.
