In September, Wuhan’s total import and export value  stood at 33.27 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57.6 percent and a month-on-month increase of 39.7 percent,  Wuhan Customs said on October 14.

  Based on the same data source, the exports gained 17.43 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 58 percent , and a month-on-month increase of 50.1 percent ; the total imports raked in15.84 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57.2 percent and a month-on-month increase of 29.8 percent .

  In the first three quarters of this year, the total import and export value of Wuhan reached182.89 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4 percent over the same period  of last year.
