On September 23, a delegation from the World Economic Forum (Davos) visited Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, holding talks with local companies over international development. Wuhan is the first city the organization visited after epidemic.
Established in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, cultural and other leaders of society.
At the meeting, representatives of the World Economic Forum introduced how the forum seeks cooperation opportunities for Chinese and foreign companies and help the two sides communicate, adding that the forum will play a significant role in helping cities and enterprises further opening up and improve internationalization.
29 local companies including Zall Smart Commerce Group, Humanwell PuraCap, Jointown, Zhongbai Holdings, and Century Network participated in the meeting.
