In July, Wuhan Port completed a container throughput of 152,300 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 14.51 percent, the Wuhan New Port Management Committee notified on August 25.

  This is the second year-on-year growth since the start of COVID-19 epidemic. In June, the port saw the first this year, hitting 6.14 percent.

  According to statistics, from January to July, the container throughput handled at theport reached 718,400 TEUs.

  It was introduced that Wuhan Port has set itself a total container throughput of 1.7 million TEUs in 2020, higher than last year's 1.6894 million TEUs.
