CCPIT Hubei Trade Mission to Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico

  To strengthen business cooperation between Hubei and Latin America, vice president Zhang Aiming led a business delegation to Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico from December 8 to December 18.

  During the visit, the delegation attended the 13th China-LAC Business Summit, China-Costa Rica Business Forum and China-Mexico Business Forum. Vice president Zhang gave remarks at China-LAC TPOs Roundtable Meeting and China-Costa Rica Business Forum and signed MOUs with Argentina Chamber of Commerce for Asia and the Pacific and the Association of Free Zone of the America.

  The delegationalsohosted Hubei China-Costa Rica Economic and Trade Seminar and CCPIT HUBEI-CANACO CDMX Business Meeting, at which vice president Zhang made presentations ofHubei.

  The delegation had extensive talks with governments, business communities and consulates in these three countries and exchanged ideas on promoting economic and trade cooperation with Hubei. San Joses Mayor, member of Parliament of Costa Rica, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Costa Rica, representatives of CANACO CDMX attended relevant events.Besides, delegates participated in activities about China-Latin America Trade and Investment Fair, Panama Canal, Vacamonte Logistic Park, Colon Free Trade Zone, Costa Rica Britt and America Free Zone. Hubei entrepreneurs joined B2B match-makings and reached consensuses on cooperation.

  The delegation introduced Hubei to the world, made friends from different circles, gathered information of overseas markets and helped enterprises contract cooperation. The visit delivered positive outcomes and proved a success.
