Vice president Zhang Aiming met with governors of Tacna and Moquegua regions of Peru, president and secretary-general of the Peruvian Chinese Cultural Institute on June 19th.

  Vice president Zhang extended a welcome to the delegation. He said that Peru has abundant silver, copper and zinc resources and strengths in marine fisheries and wine production, its industries complementary to Hubei and potentials for cooperation being huge. CCPIT HUBEI is willing to join hands with Peru and promote bilateral cooperation to a new level.

  Delegation expressed gratitude to CCPIT HUBEI for serving business interactions. Vice presidentZhangand two Peruvian regional governorshad in-depth exchangeof views on how Hubei and Peru could boost bilateral cooperation in fields such as trade, science and technology and culture under the framework of Belt and RoadInitiative.

  Latin American and Caribbean Divisiondirector of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countriesand heads of Foreign Relations Departmentand Legal Affairs Department were also in attendance.
