2024 Hubei China –Hungary Trade and Investment SeminarSuccessfully Held in Budapest on the morning of May 21st. The seminar was co-organized by CCPIT Hubei, Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, Hungarian Pest state government, Hungarian National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers.
Mr. Liu Bo,counselor of economic and commercial department of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, Mr.Shi Minghui, the deputy president CCPIT Hubei,Ms.Zsanett Ihasz, director of international business development Department of Hungarian Export Promotion Agency,Mr.Wolf Péter, chief economic and trade advisor of Pest state government, Mr.Péter Lőrincze Titulary , co-president of Hungary National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers,deliver speeches in turn. The deputy head of the Ezhou Airport Economic Zone Management Committee did HuaHu Airport promotion with the topic of creating an international free-trade air port.A total of more than 150 representatives from China and Hungary attended the event.
Mr.Liu Bo said in his speech that ten days ago, President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Hungary and jointly announced with Prime Minister Orbán that the two countries had established a new era of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership, which has pushed the relationship between the two countries to an unprecedented new height, and the Sino-Hungarian relationship has sailed into the "golden channel". In recent years, Hubei enterprises had expanded investment and cooperation in Hungary.The two sides have great potential for cooperation. He believes that China (Hubei) - Hungary Investment and Trade Seminar will bring new results of cooperation, help China-Hungary economic and trade cooperation continue to move to a new level.
Mr.Shi Minghui introduced Hubei form five aspects, including obvious location advantages, rich scientific and educational resources, beautiful ecological environment, strong industrial foundation and strong momentum of opening up. He said that the Hungarian government launched an electric vehicle support program last year.New energy and intelligent network vehicles is one of the five advantageous industries in Hubei, which is focusing on building a world-class industrial cluster and breakthrough development, and has a complete industrial chain and strong innovation capacity. The two sides have different advantages in market size and resource endowment, strong industrial complementarity and broad development prospects, and we hope that the two sides will continue to expand and deepen the cooperative relationship in terms of expanding trade exchanges, promoting mutual investment, and strengthening technical exchanges, so as to realize mutual benefits and common development.
Ms.Zsanett Ihasz said in her speech that the industrial characteristics of Hubei and Hungary are very complementary, and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency would like to actively strengthen the contact and exchange with the CCPIT Hubei to continue to promote the forward development of the E-Hungarian economic and trade relations.
Mr.Wolf Péter said that President Xi Jinping has just visited Hungary, which brings more space for trade cooperation between Hungary and China, and we are full of confidence and expectation for each other's cooperation. We have also set up an economic and trade representative office in Hubei, which has also set up a closer communication channel for both sides, and we believe that both sides will carry out close communication and exchanges in more fields.
Mr.Péter Lőrincze said the Hungary National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers is the largest private sector business association in Hungary, and the association signed a memorandum of cooperation with CCPIT in 2011. He hoped to carry out multi-field cooperation with CCPIT Hubei to promote bilateral trade and investment, and also looked forward to providing assistance for Hubei enterprises to expand into Central and Eastern Europe and neighboring markets.
Before the seminar, Mr.Liu Bo met with Mr. Shi Minghui. Mr.Liu Bo expressed his warm welcome to the Hubei Economic and Trade Delegation and briefly introduced the business environment and investment policies of Hungary. He said that China-Hungary economic and trade relations have developed strongly in recent years, and Hungary has become a hot spot for Chinese enterprises to invest, especially in the upstream and downstream industries of new energy automobile chain.He welcome Hubei enterprises to invest in Hungary, deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation.He believes that the future development of economic and trade relations between Hubei Province and Hungary will continue to be stable and good, and achieve fruitful results.
Mr.Shi Minghui expressed his gratitude to the support and assistance provided by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary for Hubei Province's "going out" for a long time. He said that Hubei Province pay highly attention to the cooperation and communication with Hungary, and has achieved positive results in economy and trade, science and education, culture, youth exchanges, and friendship between two sides. He hoped that the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy would, as always, provide support and assistance to Hubei enterprises and help "Hubei enterprises go abroad" and "Hubei products export abroad".
At the seminar, more than 20 enterprises from Hubei involved in automobiles and parts, logistics, aviation, information technology, building materials and other fields had B2B docking talks with more than 90 enterprises invited by the Hungarian side, and the docking scene was warm and fruitful. Wuhan World Trade Exhibition Service Co., Ltd, Hubei Aifeiqi Navigation Development Co., Ltd, Hubei AVIC Navigation Development Co., Ltd., Yidu Huiyi Ceramics Co., Ltd. and CCPIT Jingmen reached a preliminary cooperation intention with Hungarian side on the relevant industrial projects such as shiitake mushrooms, packaging bags, car beauty and so on.
