On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, CCPIT Hubei, jointly with the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Provincial Department of Commerce, Korea Trade - Investment Promotion Agency Wuhan Office and the Korea Maritime Institute, successfully held the 2022 Hubei China - Korea Future Cooperation and Exchanges Conference on September 29th with objectives to deepen the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between our province and South Korea, and build a pragmatic docking platform for Hubei and South Korea enterprises. Vice president Li Xiaoyan attended the meeting.

  Hong Chang Pyo, the general representative of the Korea Trade - Investment Promotion Agency in China, and Zhang Xiaomei, director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. Jong Deog Kim, director of the Korea Maritime Institute delivered a video speech. Qin Zunwen, director of the Hubei “Belt and Road” Research Institute, Sang Hun Lee, chief representative of the Korea Foreign Economic Policy Research Institute Beijing Office, Lyoo Seechoon, chief representative of the Busan Port Authority Shanghai Office, Zhang Yong, general manager of Sinotrans Hubei Co., Ltd., Dai Guangwen, president of Wuhan Asia – Europe Logistics Co., Ltd., and other Chinese and Korean experts, scholars and business representatives conducted in-depth exchanges and sharing on the current situation and opportunities of cooperation between Hubei and South Korea in economics, trade, logistics, ports and shipping.
