The "Hubei Day" event, one of the theme activities of the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition, raised the curtain on July 4, 2019.
Organized by the Hubei provincial government, the three-day event aims to showcase the green development of Hubei Province.
On July 4, a series of activities including the opening ceremony, photographic exhibitions, Jing-Chu cultural performance and exhibitions of Hubei’s intangible cultural heritage are set to be held. And local specialties such as Yihong Tea and Wuxue Crispy Sugar will also be demonstrated.
On July 5, the 6th Sino-French Urban Sustainable Development Forum is slated to take place and on July 6, a seminar on the Sino-German Jingzhou Ecological Demonstration City will be organized.
The Beijing International Horticultural Exposition is scheduled to be held from April 29 to October 7, 2019. The Hubei Garden, resembling a multicolored feather phoenix dancing in the sky, lies in the south-east of the park.
