In order to further push forward the economic and trade cooperation between our province and Chile, especially to promote the precise docking of key industries, the Chilean Meat Online Promotion Conference was successfully held in the morning of August 31st. The conference was sponsored by the Commercial Office of the Chilean Embassy in China and the Psearcher, and co-organized by the ProChile, the FAENACAR, the China Meat Association, CCPIT Gansu, and the Membership Department of the China Chamber of International Commerce. Li Xiaoyan, vice president of CCPIT Hubei attended the conference and delivered a speech.

  At the meeting, Mr. Rafael Lecaros, general manager of the FAENACAR introduced in detail the characteristics of Chilean beef and mutton products, as well as product traceability, food safety and sustainable development. Ms. Natalia, commercial counselor of the Chilean Embassy in China, talked on behalf of the ProChile China Office about the specific process and anti-fraud tips for Chinese companies importing meat products from Chile. Chen Wei, vice chairman of the China Meat Association, explained the current situation and development trend of meat import and export in China and Chile at the meeting, and put forward specific suggestions on further promoting bilateral meat trade, including mutual recognition of standards, personnel training, product traceability and brand building.

  Vice president Li Xiaoyan mentioned the friendly exchanges and cooperation between Hubei province and Chile to the participants, as well as the positive efforts and achievements made by CCPIT Hubei for a long time in practical cooperation between Chilean government and enterprises, and called on all parties to further strengthen ties and promote cooperation in various fields.
