Flower Lake Sets Sail: Global Cross-Border — The First Hubei (Ezhou) Cross-Border E-commerce Investment and Product Matching Conference Successfully Held, Gathering Thousands of Businesses to Build a Digital Trade Ecosystem
2025-12-05

On December 5, 2025, the first Hubei (Ezhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Investment and Product Selection Conference was grandly held in Ezhou. With the theme "Setting Sail at Huahu, Connecting Globally," this event was jointly organized by the Hubei Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People's Government of Ezhou City. It brought together over a thousand representatives from cross-border e-commerce platforms, industry leaders, think tank experts, and supply chain enterprises, making it not only an unprecedented industry gathering but also a pragmatic initiative that leverages Huahu Airport—a national strategic hub—to deeply integrate the "hub + industry + digital" development path and proactively adapt to global trade transformations.

As Asia's top and the world's fourth-largest professional cargo hub, Ezhou Huahu Airport has established 50 international cargo routes, directly connecting to 51 major global cities with over 10,000 annual international cargo flights, forming a global "8-hour traffic circle." This conference, with Huahu Airport as its physical fulcrum, aims to transform its logistics advantages into systemic momentum for industrial agglomeration and trade upgrading, propelling Hubei from a "transport hub" to a "supply chain hub" and "digital trade hub." Beyond being a feast of ideas, the conference also serves as a platform for resource alignment and win-win cooperation: with signed contracts totaling 3.6 billion yuan, covering six key projects including cross-border supply chains, digital marketing, and overseas warehouse construction, it highlights market confidence in Hubei's cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.

The product selection scene was vibrant: "Hubei quality products" such as industrial lasers, fashionable children's wear, China-Chic cosmetics, and original figurines were showcased alongside "global quality goods" like Southeast Asian coffee beans, Thai durians, and European red wine, delivered directly via Huahu Airport, attracting cross-border platforms, major sellers, and suppliers for in-depth matchmaking. At the matchmaking site, one company reached an agreement to purchase 50,000 children's safety seats with participating enterprises, while several companies explicitly expressed their intention to establish operations in the Ezhou Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park. The matchmaking continues, and the exciting stories of "buying from and selling to the world" will unfold further, with more collaborative surprises yet to come.
