Chairwoman Zhou Caijuan accompanied vice governor Cao Guangjing to meet with governors of Peruvian regional governments on June 21st.

  Vice governor Cao Guangjing extended a warm welcome tothe Peruvian delegation and introduced tothe guests economic and trade cooperation between Hubei and Peru in recent years. He hopedthat the two sides would take thevisit asan opportunity to build up complementary, mutually-beneficial and even closer relationsin areas such asagriculture, scienceand technology,culture, energy and tourism.

  Mr. Eduardo YongMotta, presidentof the Peruvian Chinese CulturalInstitutebriefed on the institute,Tacna and Moqueguaregions of Peru. He said the visit deepened their understanding of Hubei andexpressed the hope oftwo sides having more in-depth cooperation in broader areas to achieve mutual benefitsand win-win results.

  After the meeting, vice governor Cao Guangjing signed memorandum of cooperation with governors of Tacna region and Moquegua region.

  During their stay in Wuhan, the Peruvian delegation visited Wuhan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company, China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design GroupCo., Ltd.,Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and held in-depth discussions with relevant companies.
