Hubei's imports and exports stood at 680.96 billion yuan in the first 10 months of 2025, up 21.6 percent year on year, local customs said on November 17.
Of the total, exports posted 476.38 billion yuan, surging by 25.8 percent from the same period last year, while imports gained 12.7 percent to 204.58 billion yuan.
There were more than 9,800 foreign trade enterprises with import and export performance in Hubei. Private enterprises witnessed strong performance with the import and export volume hitting 478.79 billion yuan over the period, while the imports and exports of state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises reached 104.59 billion yuan and 97.32 billion yuan, respectively.
From January to October, Hubei's imports and exports withits top two trading partners - ASEAN and the EU - stood at 146.31 billion yuan and 91.72 billion yuan, respectively.
Meanwhile, the province’s trade with other RCEP members totaled 220.2 billion yuan, ascending by more than 20 percent.
Exports of mechanical and electrical products amounted to 242.96 billion yuan, contributing more than 50 percent to the province's total over the period. Imports of mineral products registered 43.61 million tonnes with a value of 70.43 billion yuan, while imports of mechanical and electrical products hit 79.55 billion yuan.
